Description
Here's how they get their start. When first digging down to the water table, the hole is too small to bring out huge handfulls of sand needed for the large spires. So, I spend time making smaller towers, or chimney-like structures, walls, smaller spires and the like. As I'm doing this, the walls of the excavation hole begin collapsing in and the hole expands...preferrably AWAY from the castle! Takes a little skill and planning to set the hole! As the hole expands, larger handfulls of sand become more easily available to begin building the "Siren Spires," named that way to draw the onlookers closer
